The Finnish Game Foundation’s projects are expanding to South Ostrobothnia!
The Finnish Game Foundation launched its third JTF-funded peatland restoration project, EPKA, at the end of 2025.
Following a positive grant decision, the Finnish Game Foundation launched the EPKA project, a project in Seinäjoki, Alavus and Kauhava in South Ostrobothnia to restore three former peat production areas – Kurjenneva, Mosaneva and Loukasneva – as marsh and wetland habitats. The project started in 11/2025 and will end towards the end of 2027. More information on the project page to be set up later!
