POPKA 2 project machine work started in Kapustasuo, Kuusamo!
The POPKA 2 project, launched by the Finnish Game Foundation in spring 2025, will restore, among other things the old peat production area in Kapustasuo, Kuusamo, as a biodiverse wetland and marsh habitat. Work on the Kapustasuo machine started in November.
Soil work on Kapustasuo in Kuusamo started in November 2025 under the site supervision of Luontovarma Oy.
