Profits from the sales of The Wetter the Better products from the Finnish Game Foundation will are directed straight into the Foundation’s restoration projects and concrete habitat work. The Finnish Game Foundation uses the funds raised to restore wetlands and former peatland areas around Finland. In the areas to be restored, the aim is to restore natural, species-rich nesting and breeding habitats for waterfowl.
The Wetter the Better products come from a Finnish clothing manufacturer Pure Waste, and are made from 100% recycled fibres. Manufacturing Pure Waste products uses 99% less water and generates 50% less carbon emissions, significantly reducing their environmental impact compared to similar garments made from virgin materials.
The logo of the Finnish Game Management Foundation is printed on the chest of the shirt and the elegant Northern Habitats – The Wetter the Better – graphic by Asmo Raimoaho is printed on the back of the shirt.
